Day One: Today I ran 44.5 kilometers (27.7 miles) at an average pace of 5 minutes 27 seconds per kilometer.
Today’s goal was to make three stops for water and nutrition without slowing the total time too much. I stopped at 11 km (two minutes), 22 km (seven minutes), and 33 km (two minutes).
I am looking forward to day two. I’m expecting rain and 25 degree weather.
